A Poem.

Updated

Haven't written one in a while so here is one I thought I'd share.

"From the clocks tick the time,
a favor for us all,

A feel of beauty through the brain
and ignored by the calls,

To die in the arms, die in the arms,
rest our head on her arms,

Please feel free to be obliged,
to boldy inflict our harms,

Leave his pressence don't deny,
the fortunes you were wronged,

To raid the treasures of our past,
and the memories to be prolonged,

The king is dead, the queen is nigh,
our lives are at a wreck,

Throw on your courage, strap your pride,
and through the lands you shall treck,

So swallow your pride, and rush right in,
the lands that were once hell,

And please enjoy your stay here eternally,
because only time will tell,"

You may have thought that Super Smash Bros. Brawl was not a true fighting. Just a platformer with fighting elements but if it can pull off a combo video this awesome, I defy you to say it's anything less than a fighting game.

New VGEC Branch.

2009-11-19 15:43:40 by albatross412
Updated

As leader I want to propose renovations to the committee. A few change-ups to our guidelines and maybe even branching a second VGEC. That means there may be more than one VGEC and we can make even more videogame oriented discussion and lists. My members, I want a vote upon this decision. Sent by PM only please

The Second VGEC:

-Can be ran independently within reason. I must still be informed of activity and has to follow the guidelines already set up.

-Must build lists based on one's own ideas. Thus an index must be built from scratch.

-Should be five members strong for me to commission the committee.

I already have someone in mind for the running of this new branch of VGEC. The new branch will be named as the Maxim Branch in accordance to my committee being the Dizzy Branch.

For those who are not in the VGEC and don't know what it is. Here is what we do:

This is the VGEC.

We are not a group of spammers or trolls but a group of videogame enthusiasts. More details are in the rules and guidelines within our index (above link).

UPDATE: I am withdrawing the proposal. Very valid points were made but gladly the idea of a new branch is wanted but not needed as of right now.

FINAL UPDATE: The VGEC Poll system is about to be unveiled. See Thelightning55 for details on the polls and being able to participate.

This may have been the most grueling but rhythmic gauntlet of videogame music ever devised by me and my team. This is our longest list to date and we hope you enjoyed every bit of it. But the credit goes to the makers of these videos. Without them, this list wouldn't be any good. Again all rights are to the creators of the above videos and the VGEC accepts ZERO credit for any of them.

This list is in memory of Amonkeynamedsam; he's not dead but no longer a part of the VGEC. His contributions to this committee will always be appreciated.

I just want to verify the videos used in this list are property of those that initially created the videos. We claim no ownership of these videos and rights are subject to the creators.

Additionally: Make sure your flash is up to date and refrain from playing multiple videos at once. Whatever it may cause, the VGEC is not responsible for it.

Please view every part of this list before putting your two cents in.

Now that messy little disclaimer is gone, let's get to business. What truly makes a videogame experience is the music. Music provids the panultimate feel to a game. Music is like finger prints, unique and one of a kind. Let's delve into our favorites.
