I am the founder of the VGEC (Videogame Enthusiasts' Committee). I'm a fan of the videogame companies Namco and Capcom. Other than that, I'm just an average Newgrounder. P.S. I know it's Namco Bandai but correct me and I'll split your head like a melon

How To REALLY Get Comments.

Posted by albatross412 - May 14th, 2009

Easy as this my friends.

-First post something eye-catching that most people can relate to

-Get another user to agree with you greatly

-If you have much in common then you're ready for the next step

-Establish a friendly bond with that user(s)

-They will put in a good word for you amoungst users that already respect and agree with them if you ask

-These users may come and check out your own news posts but you may have to return the favor

-It would be better if you contributed flash and audio submissions so you would be better recognized, but if you don't have access to such resources then disregard the above step

-Make sure that you keep posting eye-catching news so your new regulars don't lose interest

That's it. Just post the right tidbits or whatnot and your good. But comments are not garaunteed.

Comments

i can totally see this is working for you.

Give it a shot. You should get results.

Or you could just randomly insult everyone you come across. That works better.

I stated that in my last post. Trust me, you won't enjoy the results and the self-esteem issues that follow. It's not in my nature to be nasty with people for no reason.

I'm pretty sure most people aren't out for tones of comments when posting blogs.
I know I'm not... Thats not the point.

You'd be actually pretty surprised with the ammount of people who hound for comments.

-Ones who want attention (common)

-Ones who need advice (pretty common)

-People who cause fights for fun and just want to build up their page space (pretty effing common)

-People who want to express themselves (rare)

-Ones who crave inspiration for the next big thing (common)

i was just joking around 51430. i know it's only been like half an hour or so since this guy posted it so obviously he wouldn't get any comments yet.

besides i dont really need this anyways. if someone reads my blog, good. if not, who cares. i get over 10 comments i guess on average.

and before anyone calls me on that one i said on average. that news post was posted like an hour or two ago.

:P

That's a good way to look at things. *Sniffle*.

whoops i thought 51430 was making a sarcastic post about me.

oopsie daisies ;D

Yay merrily?
