I am the founder of the VGEC (Videogame Enthusiasts' Committee). I'm a fan of the videogame companies Namco and Capcom. Other than that, I'm just an average Newgrounder. P.S. I know it's Namco Bandai but correct me and I'll split your head like a melon

Poem 3.

Posted by albatross412 - May 16th, 2009

"Bewildered did that strike the faces of the army,

Was their objective that absurd,

Such is a risk one takes to fight, as one chooses to take their own lives,

What the hell are we fighting for,

What are you fighting for,

I fight for her heart, I fight to abolish the loneliness,

So I wait for her arrival,

I hinted the hound's dampened breath over the horizon's stagnant air,

That hound wanted my heart,

Not to take it in love, but hunger,

I will not feed it,"

awesoooommmmmeee

Just like pie...NO...muffins.

nice

Indeed...

Unusual choice of the words in the poem. Seems like you read a lot, eh? I find it good.

I do actually read avidly. I am inspired by some greats as Poe or Emmerson.

I see. I'm more of a fan of Agatha Christie myself. Just love Poirot and his wisdom/knowlege. If there were more writers like that, Earth would be divine.

Try William Saroyan's play "The Time of Your Life", Kahlil Gibran's "The Prophet", and Nietzche's "Twilight of the Idols". All excellent pieces in my opinion.

poems are for college retards!

Haha! I can see you have the spirit of a college frat within you. I know because of your lack of appreciation to a noble literary art and adding "inator" to the end of every noun (F.Y.I. your profile name). Or maybe you abysmally failed at poetry yourself and are spiteful against the skill you so desperately want.

what?

Exactly.
