The Conflict is Stirring.

I love when there is conflict in art with your graceful lands and the bordering barren wastelands and craggy threatening mountain landscapes. This is excellent and the water-color was used beautifully. I also like the sudden transition of grace to shame with the definate border between each land. Well done.

Thank you very much!

Vicious.

This is pretty wicked. I love the rough aura emmanating from this beast, it is edged in a rough way and the contrast with a white background is superb. You are one of my favorite artists.

Is It Dark or Simply Mistaken?

I took full notice of the angel wings right away. The urban looking element scratched wall behind her could suggest a building she us leaning upon, consoling her bleeding arm. But there is a story behind these simple qualities. I look at it like this, much like the afformentioned Satan, who was a fallen angel, she too seems to be an angel who fell...but not from heaven, but from her grace and personality but I can attest to the contentment in her face. On a technical note the face doesn't quite line up with her hair, but I easily ignore such a small fault as I admire your stunning work with backgrounds and method of creating hair. An excellent piece.

Sex Apeal.

That is what I like about this piece. The concept of sex apeal I say speaks more tastefully than sex itself. Not nude so that it's tasteless but enough skin so the guys have a bit of eye candy. I honestly don't see anything wrong with the face, I think it is actually quite cute. If you ask me she bears a resemblance to Shinobu of the 13-part anime series Ninin Ga Shinobuden. Looks to have a bubbly personality and innocence but again has that sex apeal. I also like the background to the piece, it really speaks to the girls ironic wardrobe malfunction.

You seem to follow a similar way of thinking in comparison to myself, when approaching art content such as this. I am Vortex00 and I approve this review. XD

Funny.

It's a pretty funny piece. It reminds me of the game Robotron. I wish you put more in there though.

hellboundsoul07 responds:

I was going for that old arcade game feel. I recall only seeing the main character, a pixely design, and the good old 3 Coins to play. I wanted to add more of a background, like a small army base with turrets that would show where the trolls were being "cloned". That was just a piece of the plot, glad you liked it.

Disturbingly Sublime.

This is a very intruiging piece. You say it speaks to your sadness, but I see a provokation of a disturbing piece. Very original in it's context with the use of intertwining flesh and body. The main form appears to be an alpacha llama, for which I cannot see reason of. But here is my interpretation of this piece: the intertwining of the flesh is the negative notions and thoughts of man (due to the very male forms), the only face present is grinning for he put these negative feelings behind him. But immediately one could see at first glance could be a literal message of sexuality (another example of the male forms in said piece). However, this should not be the message conveyed as it is an immature way to look at this piece. The anatomy of the figures were done spectacularly and although disturbing, a very distinguished piece in my opinion. A perfect score.

sucho responds:

i like goats. and i dont have any. thats basically what created this.

seriously though, i'm deeply flattered and i really appreciate the thought and depth to which you interpreted within the piece. it means a great deal and i appreciate it from the bottom of my livestock-less heart.

Striking.

The first thing one would notice is the vibrant colors of the fish contradicting a dark, dark background. But it is not the color that moves me, but inside the fish that makes the piece. The insides of the fish if you look closely resembles an intricate machine; a literal machine. I would guess that in order to achieve such graceful motions of a quoi fish can only be achieved by the flawless clock-work of a machine. This is what art is.

Elegant.

The woman has much solemness about her whether it be her eyes or facing towards her hands. Such a mastery of the illustration with the hair; a very difficult aspect of drawing. One such detail that caught my eye was the rose in her hands as she picked away at the petals. Why such an act, I simply cannot tell. It could be the cliché of lost love or the breaking of the rose brought her to such a sallow mood. If one were to pay attention to the details of the feet can see the earth is soft as the feet is submerged beneath the surface. Is it sand or dirt? Either of the two speaks in different ways. Much elegance with the dress' appearance which speaks to the title. But the title too is cliché and speaks of the piece as just another picture where it is clearly art. A fine work in my opinion.

gravityglitch responds:

Profoundly worded, thanks for your appreciation. The ground she's on is snow, Despite the lack of effort it takes to draw snow, I've always loved snow as it apeals to my artistic fetish for a spotless white canvas and the base element of contrast.

Many Messages.

Yet another dark piece by Ms. Mirocka. The girl and her reflection were mirrored superbly and one should notice the reflection's (or real girl, who knows) wings. Maybe to personify the darker and more formidable self the girl wishes to be, or the normal child the demonic one wishes to become. Despite either extreme this piece gives off an aura of many different messages; only a few I can fathom. Not a perfect score, only because I wish the entirety of the girls were in the canvas so there would be more room for more physicalities (to further the spectrum of messages).

Mirocka responds:

thank you
I didn't draw the rest because I was nervous of how it would look
I have this girl's profile, I'll post it later

Such Softness.

Such a soft longing expression on the girl's face. The soft coloring goes with the expression well but suit the mouth and eyes the most. This piece takes advantage of the lack of canvas used, and turns the unfilled canvas into a factor that adds to this drawing's effect. Well done.

Mirocka responds:

Omg your words are so awesome *.*
