Delightful.

It truly is a delightful work. Teh catchy music was frantic and the quirky humor and events throughout were creative, boggling, and a bit strange. The style was simple but it was purely testament to the premise and I can't think of anything wrong with this flash other than a very slight and subtle repition. Very good in the end.

thankyou very much, but the only reason it repeated was the lack of ideas in my prefrontal cortex

Squiggles that Entertain.

It's strange but I actually liked this submission. Some of the patterns the squiggles (albeit lights) made some pretty interesting and cool patterns but others were not all too original. The music fits the franticness well and it was a decent enough length to be enjoyable. I was a little annoyed with the opening credits, particularly because your name and other words were cut off slightly by the screen. In the end this is enjoyable and is moreso a hyper-active screensaver, but that's a good thing.

Box-Killa responds:

Yeah should be fixed now :D

Stunning.

Cinematic quality in narroration and sound. The voicing acting blew me away with excellently synched acting and the motions of characters (although a tad choppy at times) were simply smooth in all. Sound effects were the true gem of this flash adn the length gave you enough of a taste to hook you but short enough to give suspense and have you return for future releases of this series. This could have the potential of the acclaimed flash series Fallen Angel but we'll just have to wait. A vseemingly long one for me.

Bubbowrap responds:

Wow, comparing this to Fallen Angel blows my mind. That series (along with Vinnie Veritas' flashes) made me want to get into animating in the first place! I think it's too good of a compliment for me, but I seriously appreciate it!

Devious.

The style immediately drew me into this flash and the animation was simple but it worked with the said style. Much chaos went around the premise of this movie and the concept of a Halloween Party gone awry made this a very interesting video. This reminded me of a Gorillaz-esque video and the music was pretty enjoyable. Nothing to complain about at all. Great facial expressions between characters and the music mixed with a pure slaughter fest kept this animation at a satisfying pace. Excellent flash that is sure to make this years Halloween collection.

lenkalamari responds:

haha thanks man. jamie hewlett is one of my fave artists, i'm actually hoping to work for his studio someday.

Good God.

Amoungst the best Halloween submissions I've viewed so far. The only submission that actually took a duty upon itself to frighten the viewer. With the chilling humming against the stormy night added that horrifying touch and the ending...the ending was simply brilliant. You knew it was coming but you were caught off gaurd by...something. I guess it was the cliches of modern horror movies that rely on surprise than true gruesomeness, but you did both surprise and gruesome justice with the ending and ending screen. You actually made me jump! By switching the roles you gave this Mother Goose tale a real demeted spin. Perfect score!

Thilodius-Monk responds:

Wow, thanks for the accolades. I did spend a lot of time on the "mood" and the setting, despite the fact that it was originally designed to be at most 10 seconds long. Originally this was much shorter to fit within the time suggested by the booth contest, but my friends critiqued my rough draft and told me to make it slower, and to add pregnant pauses between scares. Granted, its still too quick, but it doesn't waste your time either.

Crude but Funny.

It is actually pretty funny despite a shocking beginning. In essence the characters outlining seemed abit blocky but that is just style I suppose. Very humorous in a graphic way and again nyou did phenomenally with the facial expressions. Good job.

Artyluck responds:

Thanks a lot for review. :)

Randomness Done Nicely.

If this is you're first attempt at random and tangential comedy you've done well. The main character was delightfully funny and the clips for just about every line or joke was executed well. But I would've lost the ending; it just didn't fit at all, even for a movie like this. But overall this is very good.

ClockworkPixel responds:

the ending was a last minute thing but you know thanks for the review :)

This Could Be Better.

I liked this movie quite a bit but it's just too short. I would love to see it with sound effects with a good length and this can really be an interesting movie.

berserka11 responds:

ill try and make this a longer animation thanx for feed back

Funny.

Despite being in another language (Russian I presume), this was pretty funny. Nice use of comedic timing and facial expressions. Well done.

Artyluck responds:

Yeah, that was russian. Thank you. :)

Good Talent.

A balance of seduction and creepiness without having to stoop to pornography well defines this flash. The color scheme and character interactions were quite well done but not as good as their facial expressions. The only thing deterring the score is length, but then again it is a short. Well done.

Gate-keeper-girl responds:

I like flashes short, because it helps me focus on the goal, and keep the plot focused.

Someday I'll start coming out with longer submissions again, but right now, my schedule doesn't allow it.

Thanks for the great review!
